Welcome to the National Collection of Pathogenic Viruses (NCPV), a Health Protection Agency Culture Collection.

About NCPV

NCPV preserves well-characterised, authenticated human pathogenic viruses in a secure facility, and supplies the agents or nucleic acids derived from them to the scientific community according to national and international guidelines.

You can either browse or search the collection.

Restrictions on the supply of highly pathogenic viruses exist. Individuals and organisations must be resigistered with the NCPV to access restricted items. If you wish to register with the NCPV please complete the NCPV Registration Form.
