Withdrawal of Human Genetic Collection
In September 2010, the Human Genetic Disorders Collection catalogue was withdrawn from this website.
These lines were collected as part of the Medical Research Council’s (MRC) Human Genome Mapping project, and continued grant funding has enabled ECACC to offer these samples to our customers. As of 1st April 2010, ECACC no longer receives any grant funding and so this collection has been withdrawn
Please Note: The Human Random Control, HLA Defined and Chromosomal Abnormality collections are not affected, and ECACC continues to offer comprehensive Genetic Support Services.
If you have a query related to this change please click here to submit your query via this website.
Did you deposit cell lines as part of a Medical Research Council funded project?
In the year building up to the withdrawal of the collection ECACC attempted to contact everyone who deposited samples under MRC funding.
If you have not responded yet, or have not received any communication from us please get in touch with us at your earliest opportunity.
Failure to contact ECACC may result in your samples being destroyed.
