LENTICULE® Discs

LENTICULE DiscsLENTICULE® discs provide an easy-to-use source of control strains suitable for evaluating a range of microbiological procedures and challenging the performance of culture media and reagents. The discs consist of biologically active bacteria in a control-dried, water-soluble matrix, and are manufactured from the same dedicated seed stocks as those used to prepare traditional freeze-dried NCTC cultures, ensuring that the characteristics of each strain are preserved.

Format:
LENTICULE® discs (qualitative range) are supplied, with easy to follow instructions, in packs of 10 discs (ten tubes each containing a single disc) and should be stored at -20°C ± 5°C. However, short periods at ambient temperature do not affect viability, so transportation does not require temperature-controlled conditions.

LENTICULE® discs have a minimum shelf-life of 12 months when stored at -20°C ± 5°C.

Price:
All cultures are priced at £50.00 each, excluding VAT; and there is a 10% discount for orders of ten or more cultures.

Postage and packaging: within UK £10.00 per order by first-class post; outside UK £50.00 per order depending on country.

LENTICULE is a trade mark of the Health Protection Agency. The method of preparation and the LENTICULE discs themselves are subject to the International Patent Application published as WO 01/05941.
