Key to Distribution Status/Notes column for virus listings:
| Comment | Significance |
| Mycoplasma | This refers to viruses that are mycoplasma positive. These viruses are generally respiratory pathogens that are only a few passes away from the original isolate; mycoplasma co-infection is a common problem with such isolates. NCPV is undertaking a mycoplasma eradication programme; the order in which isolates are treated is driven by customer demand. |
| RESTRICTED | These viruses are covered by the UK Department for Environment, Food & Rural Affairs (DEFRA) i.e. Specified Animal Pathogens Order (SAPO) agents or are part of the Australia Group of pathogens (see Department for Business, Enterprise and Regulatory Reform website, www.berr.gov.uk), and therefore require correct licensing to be in place before delivery can be made. |
| Information in brackets | For example: (#193, 293 cells) – this refers to the virus parent accession number and the cell line used to passage the virus, respectively. |
