Cell Culture DVD - Special Offer!

The European Collection of Cell Cultures (ECACC), in partnership with Sigma-Aldrich, has produced a cell culture training DVD 'A Guide to Successful Cell Culture'. The DVD is a 30 minute film demonstrating and describing key areas of cell culture filmed on location at ECACC, topics include:

• The cell culture laboratory and equipment overview
• Locker area and entry into the laboratory
• The microbiological safety cabinet and its use
• Revival of cells from frozen
• Cell growth to confluence
• Subculture
• Counting cells (Trypan blue)
• Cell freezing & banking
• Environmental and routine sterility testing

The film can be viewed from start to finish and then individual sections re-visited separately as required. Subtitles are available in French and German.
