The Process and Analytical Development Group Services
“Translating Research into Healthcare Products”
The European Collection of Cell Cultures (ECACC), with a well established Contract Cell Culture Service, has joined forces with the Process and Analytical Development Group (PADG), another department within the Health Protection Agency, to offer an extensive range of capabilities.
The PADG team has over 20 years experience in the development of processes and analytical methods to support GMP manufacture of biopharmaceuticals and diagnostics, translating research into healthcare products. In addition to the development of our own licensed products (e.g. Erwinase, a treatment for childhood leukaemia, and the UK Anthrax vaccine), PADG has enabled the manufacture of a wide range of biologicals for customers worldwide.
